01 Nov Fay & Graeme’s Outdoor Boho Dream Wedding at Saltmarshe Hall, Yorkshire in a PapaKata teepee
Ok so as I said in my last blog, I should’t have favourites. Well this is definitely another favourite! I don’t even know where to start. So much love for this one. Fay & Graeme had been in the diary a while and I was so excited about creating their wedding flowers.
Well when a couple comes to you with a flipping tree avenue as their wedding ceremony setting you know its going to be a good one. (Risky in the Yorkshire climate, but even the weather was perfect for this day!) I have completely fallen in love with Saltmarshe Hall, home of the wedding ceremony tree avenue and so much more (walled garden, riverbanks, woodlands, parklands, hidden gems & moments throughout that place – not forgetting the beautiful house too!) It is a really romantic, elegant and yet intimate setting. Fay & Graeme had a PapaKata teepee set up on the lawn, which along with our florals, Fay & her friends dressed with gold dipped feathers Fay made herself! I was able to follow all the planning and ideas of Fay as she is a Boho diary bride over on the Boho Weddings blog. I could see all the fab ideas before the big day.
I have ramble raved for a bit, maybe I should just let the beautiful images from Melissa Beattie speak for themselves…? She is a super talent and the images are gorgeous. You will see why I was so excited about this day… As you can tell below I found it impossible to choose so you will just have to excuse the extended gallery below! You will forgive me when you see the feast of beauty below. Enjoy!
Flowers we used: Sweet peas, fennel, eryngium, black cornflowers, allium drumstick, trifolum, astilbe, scabious, dahlias (various), honeysuckle, Kate David Austen rose, Romantic Antike rose, stocks, wax flower, Evelyn rose, Pavlova spray rose, echinacea, sanguisorbia, knautia, marigolds, rosemary, marjoram, clematis, antirrhinum and many more foraged beauties!
Congratulations Fay & Graeme! Axx
